Famous the world over for its luxurious leather goods and exquisite timepieces, dunhill has joined the motorcycling arena with bravado. French championship-winning Vincent racer Patrick Godet originally designed and built the Egli-Vincent as a one-off project for dunhill's flagship London store, but it garnered so much attention that the company promised to make more. Finished in the dunhill traditional chocolate brown, the stunner features a handmade leather seat by Bill Amberg.

Like the entire Motorities range, dunhill's Egli-Vincent blends practicality with stylishness, vintage flair with contemporary performance. Built entirely of new parts, the bike sports a 1968-type race-bred Egli-Vincent frame—made from cold-drawn chrome-moly tubing—that was specially designed around a 57 hp 998cc Vincent V-twin power unit dating from the 1950s. Details such as an electric start, leading-edge magnesium Fontana front brakes, and delicate hand assembly mean it can be used year-round, performing consistently and remaining oil-tight. The first of Godet's Egli-Vincents has an estimated value of $60,000 and is currently on show at dunhill's London shop. Two further bikes are currently in production and slated for delivery in the near future to Japan and the United States, respectively.
