The circa 1995 Moto Guzzi MGS-01 Corsa is a racing motorcycle for modern-day tracks, with all the personality of yesterday's models, and with a lot more technology. Moto Guzzi said so on paper and proved it on the racetrack.

The standard MGS-01 Corsa won two consecutive races with Gianfranco Guareschi in the "Battle of Twins" during the Daytona International Speedway Bike Week in Florida respectively in the 2006 and 2007 motorcycle racing seasons and repeated this supremacy winning the national Supertwins title.

The air-cooled Moto Guzzi 1125cc 90-degree two-cylinder, four-stroke, four-valve engine pushes forward at all speeds. The three-segment Cosworth pistons guarantee high compression, the chrome-plated cylinders reduce friction to a minimum; brass bearings are replaced by roller bearings.

The excellent distribution of weight, with just 200g (7 oz.) between the front and rear axle, helps to make the motorcycle easy to handle, together with the limited weight (192kg or 423 lbs.) and the reduced wheelbase (1450mm or 57 inches)

The MGS-01 front 43mm Ohlins forks can be adjusted to three positions. Rear suspension is looked after by a 513mm swingarm in boxed aluminum and a vertical shock absorber just behind the engine. Two 320mm discs up front and a single twin caliper 220mm disc look after braking.

The MGS-01 Corsa is an exclusive motorcycle that was built with the care of craftsmen and intended for true motorcycle enthusiasts.

That is why each race-bike came with a book with the motorcycle owner's personal details and the frame number.
