Zero Gravity Windscreen
The designers at Kawasaki decided to throw the sport bike crowd a curve ball in 2011 with the Ninja 1000. Futuristic, unconventional, not quite a sportbike, not quite a sport tourer, the Ninja 1000 offers the rider perhaps a little of both.
In response, Zero Gravity decided to create windscreen choices that give Ninja 1000 owners the ability to dive firmly from one camp to the other.
For those who see their Ninja 1000 in a more sporty light, Zero Gravity offers the Double Bubble® (16-231 shown in light smoke), which repeats the angular yet curvy lines of the bike to produce a more sportbike look and performance characteristic.
Like the OEM screen the Zero Gravity Double Bubble® features the "fender flares" of the original screen but offers more coverage along the width of the screen. And the "stepped profile" shape provides enhanced aerodynamics while tucked in at speed.
Some Ninja 1000 owners want their bike to function mostly as a sport tourer. For these road warriors Zero Gravity offers its Sport Touring (23-231 shown in light smoke) series screen. Wider, taller, and more smoothly shaped, the Zero Gravity Sport Touring screen is designed to run in the top position ONLY of the 3 position original equipment windscreen bracket that comes standard with the Ninja 1000. This screen offers significantly more wind protection than the OEM screen.
Owners who want both a sportbike and a sport tourer can buy both screens and make the switch in a matter of a minute or two.
Zero Gravity® screens are made with cutting edge technology and feature a precise fit, hand polished visible edges and distortion free optical clarity. Available in a variety of colors, Zero Gravity's new Kawasaki Ninja 1000 windscreens start at $99.95 and are protected with a limited factory warranty.
