LA Boutique
Designing high-end custom motorcycle seats can apparently lead to some unexpected heights in an artist's career. For Logan Riese-who we last visited on his way up in a 2007 profile in Ultimate MotorCycling magazine-it grew into his own bespoke leatherwear business, and finally to his first boutique in Los Angeles.
Motorcycle Watch
For years, prestige watches and motorcycles have shared a common heritage. It undeniably relates to precision, expert engineering, and originality in design. It is the measure of speed and accuracy of movement.
Harley-Davidson Sunglasses
Harley-Davidson is excitement. The mere mention of the name immediately calls to mind a dynamic slice of American heritage and the intangible mystique of the road less traveled.
Motorcycle Leathers
Founders Mickey Bale and Lindsay Hirsch created Lady Luck Leathers to serve a bespoke motorcycle clientele. Following a diligent survey of the choices available on the market, Bale and Hirsch quickly realized that they could not find what they liked. They decided to approach the design process in very much the same manner in which custom bikes are built-chopping away all that is unnecessary, and then set out to reinvent the custom motorcycle jacket.
Ducati Fashion Apparel
It can be accurately stated that the world of Ducati spans lifetimes. For over 60 years, the brand has grown, evolved, transformed and reinvented the concepts of speed, technology, and innovation. It now stands as one of the most seductive and engrossing representations of the modern European sporting lifestyle. In that regard, Ducati has fashioned a uniquely diverse apparel and accessories collection for both on and off road wear for men, women and children.
Accessory Designer Award
Originally known for its high end silver jewelry, leather garments and furniture with gothic motifs -fleurs, daggers and floral cross designs-Chrome Hearts has now diversified its collections extensively enough to capture the attention of Tom Cruise, Lenny Kravitz, Karl Lagerfeld, Slash, and custom motorcycle builder Amir Yazdan.
Motorcycle Brothers in Arms.
Unlike other high-end jewelry lines sharing parallel appeal, Nightrider chooses to reflect upon the history of the human struggle for independence. In an admirable celebration of the valiant and victorious men and women of America, designer George Ganem has fashioned an exclusive collection of limited edition and one-off pieces that exude a traditional American way of looking at life, woven into the concepts of freedom.
Valentino Rossi Tribute.
Michael Toschi, designer of high-end leather apparel and footwear, just happens to have 11 years of motorcycle racing experience under his belt. After purchasing a new supermoto machine, he realized that he did not have, nor could he find, a motorcycle jacket with all of the cool qualities that he wanted combined with the protective features that he needed. Toschi found the typical CD-grade urethane-coated leather too often used to be stiff and uncomfortable.
