Although there are fewer participants in the 2010 International Motorcycle Show, many of your favorite motorcycle brands will be on display. Below is a list of motorcycles you can expect to see.
Ducati
It has been three years since the folks at Ducati in Italy said they intended to produce three new models per year for the next three years. So far, the company followed up on its promise, with bikes like the Hypermotard, Streetfighter, Desmosedici RR, 848, 1198 and Monster 1100. See what they have for 2010 at the International Motorcycle Show stop closest to you!
Harley-Davidson
The Motor Company's many fans can use the International Motorcycle Show as a chance to climb aboard a seven model Touring family; an old-school chopper style Wide Glide that returns as one of five Dyna models; a darker and lower Fat Boy Lo; the evolved VRSC V-Rod joined by the V-Rod Muscle and Night Rod Special; the six-model Sportster line; and four CVO models.
Looking for three-wheels? Check out the new Street Glide Trike that joins the Tri Glide Ultra Classic in H-D's Trike family for 2010.
Honda
Honda likely has something to satiate your powersports fix for 2010. For scooterists, there's the already-popular-in-Europe SH150i and the returning, completely redesigned Elite; off-roaders can find a CRF250R with an all-new, more powerful, more compact fuel-injected engine; V-twin enthusiasts are sure to appreciate the company's Fury; and touring fans have a variety of new hues from which to choose from for their Gold Wing.
There's also the Big Red side-by-side to slide into and a multitude of updates to Honda ATVs.
Kawasaki
Team Green's rolling into 2010 with a greatly enhanced Concours 14 that's now also available with ABS; the Ninja ZX-10R with upgraded suspension, transmission and bodywork; a Z1000 with a new chassis, engine and styling; and a Versys featuring new bodywork, adjustable windscreen and revised passenger accommodations.
Off-road, there's the KLX110 with a new, more powerful 111cc engine, transmission and push-button electric starting; four models of Teryx 750 FI 4x4, and dozens of other side-by-sides and ATVs.
Star
The Star Stratoliner Deluxe and V Star 1300 Tourer are not to be missed. Powered by a 113-cubic-inch air-cooled, pushrod V-twin, the Stratoliner Deluxe comes standard with a fairing that includes integrated speakers and connectors for iPod and MP3 players, plus a convenient, handlebar-mounted audio control system; and a pair of large, color-matched, locking hard sidebags.
Offering hard leather-wrapped sidebags, a passenger backrest and windshield, the belt-drive 2010 V Star 1300 Tourer comes with a changed handlebar bend; a redesigned seat; a new gloss black finish on the frame; a new 3-D tank emblem design; and even more chrome.
Suzuki
Suzuki's big selection of on-road two-wheelers for 2010 includes the best-selling and winningest GSX-R series of sport bikes; the world-famous Hayabusa; standards like the Bandit and Gladius; dual-sports and supermotos; large family of Boulevard cruisers; and Burgman maxi scooters.
Off-road, there's a revised RM-Z450 and fuel-injected four-stroke RM-Z250; big changes to the KingQuad ATV line; and a selection of four-stroke sport quads.
Yamaha
Yamaha's display at the International Motorcycle Shows may have road riders imagining themselves as MotoGP champs when they see the new-for-2010 YZF-R1 Limited Edition Valentino Rossi/Fiat Yamaha M1 replica. There's also the R6 with a remapped ECU, new muffler and intake; and the street brawling FZ1 that packs more punch.
Motocross enthusiasts will want to take a look at the completely revised YZ250F and YZ450F; and ATV riders can inspect the 17-model ATV line, highlighted by the all-new YFZ450X, which joins the YFZ450R in the sport quad line.
Campagna Motors T-REX
The T-REX is specifically oriented towards the race car / sports car fan; with performances often surpassing those of supercars that cost multiples of the T-REX. Powered by an Inline four cylinder 1400cc engine designed by Kawasaki and producing over 200 hp, the T-REX will get your attention on the road.
Can-Am Spyder Roadster
The 2010 Can-Am Spyder line-up includes the Spyder RS (roadster sport) and all-new Spyder RT (roadster touring) models. The RT, released in response to specific consumer demand for a touring platform, features 5.5 cu. ft. of cargo space, an electric windshield and touring saddle. Plus, there's also a hopped-up "Audio & Convenience" model and an "RT-S" model to discover.
