Stepracing Team Ltd, the company responsible for the construction of the Crimea Grand Prix Circuit, has chosen Team Gresini Racing´s Moto2 project as the promotional vehicle for their new and important sports facility.

The creation of a new racing circuit for MotoGP always generates huge interest but that excitement and intrigue is multiplied when it is taking place in an area bereft of international-standard facilities. The first stone of the Crimea Grand Prix Circuit was laid in 2009 in the Sakskiy district in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the only autonomous republic of Ukraine.

It is an ambitious project spearheaded by the "master" of circuit design, Hermann Tilke, and work is due to be completed in 2011. The presence of Russian rookie Vladimir Ivanov in Team Gresini Racing´s Moto2 line-up this season gives extra value to the Crimea Grand Prix Circuit´s sponsorship of the team, who will offer them a valuable means of promotion.
