Chad Reed, still recovering from a broken hand sustained early in the 2010 Supercross Season, flew to California to see his doctor this week. From what we could tell, Reed is still not ready to ride his motorcycle or jump back into the race action quite yet. Reed's new Kawasaki Team reports that Chad hopes to be riding soon. They also anticipate that Reed will be racing sometime next month. This timing seems to jive with the original March 6th (Daytona) or March 13th (Toronto) return that was anticipated.

While in California, Reed also made an appearance at Supercross Round 5 in San Diego this last weekend. Reed took time to meet some fans and sign autographs. He seemed to be in good sprits and actually spent most of his day with the fans. Reed's championships hopes for 2010 are long gone but he will be happy to get back on the bike and demonstrate his riding skills on the Kawasaki.

Round 6 of the 2010 Supercross Season heads back to the Angel Stadium, without Chad Reed or James Stewart, for the third and final visit in Anaheim (3) on February 13th. The remaining 2010 Supercross race events are as follows:
