I cut my teeth on a CB125 back in the 80's and have loved Honda ever since. When I started this bike I was shocked by the vibration from the v-twin. It felt like I had a Harley sportster between me legs. It was rather shocking since all of my previous Hondas were smooth as silk.

The acceleration was horrid. I only got about 2 seconds max in each gear before the low reving engine needed a gear shift. Surprisingly the breaking was even worse. At 60MPH I couldn't get the bike to stop within 80ft. I complained to the dealer because I just couldn't believe the brakes would be that bad and had serious concerns for other riders. The dealer said they would check the brakes to insure they were working properly.

Honestly I was totally disappointed in this bike. Like the latest edition of the ST1300, I think Honda made this bike just to encourage you to upgrade to a Gold Wing. I highly reconmend you test drive this bike before you purchase it. AND BE SAFE WHEN DOING SO.
