I've owned a Hurricane since the early 70's and it still runs...fun to ride and everyone stops me to ask what it is. I guess it's because it has a new look in styling with the wasp tank and extended forks. It's a blast to go somewhere that has a lot of bikes and go thru the start up of rocking it to know neutral, tickling the carbs, and kicking it to start...gets attention and a lot of questions..a real attention getter. Great sound from the pipes and fast...not the best trip bike, small gas tank, and not as comfortable as the "big seat" bikes but a real blast to ride around town...if you can take the attention and questions. I took it to the Harvest Bike Festival in Luchenbach, Texas and spent a lot of time telling the story of the bike. I'm getting to old to ride now and decided to sell it...much mixed emotion. If interested, it's at EuroSportCycle in Ft. Worth..800-838-8135...it's a Triumph dealership, talk to the owner, Tony. He was the mechanic on it in the early 70's.
