Yamaha Tech3 MotoGP rider Colin Edwards has had one of the most illustrious and lengthy careers in racing. From motocross, to AMA roadracing, World Superbike, and MotoGP, the man has been at it for most of his life, collecting two Superbike World Championships, A Suzuka 8-Hour Title and garnering 119 Grand Prix starts.

Now, the "Texas Tornado" is offering a new, exclusive Boot Camp for motorcycle enthusiasts, aspiring racers and established pros.

The two- and four-day training courses, to be held on Edwards' private property in Texas, were created by Colin and his team with an eye on improving riding ability in an environment of fun (and almost assuredly, knowing Colin, a little wildness).

Texas Tornado Boot Camp is now accepting reservations for the 2011 calendar year. The camp's press release urges interested parties to confirm a spot on these limited, first of their kind classes, as they will certainly be filling up fast.

All the motorcycle schools feature the active MotoGP star Colin Edwards as instructor along with other top caliber staff instructors and visiting coaches (one rumored to be fellow Texan, Ben Spies).

The Boot Camp course choices are either a 2-Day or 4-Day "Edwards Experience Camp" and promise to be a real must for motorcycle enthusiasts regardless of level or riding experience, catering to amateurs as well as professionals.

The 2011 2-Day Edwards Experience Camp is priced at $1,250 and is scheduled for April 9, 2011 to April 10, 2011, May 7, 2011 to May 8, 2011, June 18, 2011 to June 19, 2011, and September 10, 2011 to September 11, 2011.

The 2011 4-Day Edwards Experience Camp is priced at $2,250 and will host events March 24, 2011 to March 27, 2011, April 14, 2011 to April 17, 2011, May 26, 2011 to May 29, 2011, July 28, 2011 to July 31, 2011, and September 29, 2011 to October 2, 2011.
