After being greeted at the airport, Pole Position Travelers were transfered to the newly-built Conrad, Indianapolis' first true luxury hotel that includes 23 spectacular cor-ner suites. The circles motif throughout the hotel blends seamlessly with rich Italian furnishings,Veronese marble appointments, and crystal light fixtures. The palette of rose, peach, and wheat add to the welcoming ambience, and the Spa Chakra fitness and treatment center will help relax and revive anyone who partakes.

Each morning you are transferred to the track and Pole Position's hospitality suite, right in the middle of the VIP Village. The suite overlooks the front straightaway and is situated above the Team Yamaha garage. From this vantage point, you can watch Rossi and rivals periodically emerge and do their thing on track. The MotoGP atmosphere is electric.

VIP credentials include full access to the Paddock and Pit Lane Walk, and you can expect sightings of every rider from the grid. The intimacy of rubbing shoulders with the stars brings the entire MotoGP experience alive.

The hospitality at Indianapolis was excellent. Gordon Howell, owner of Pole Position Travel, organizes fun contests between guests as part of his cheery bonhomie, enhancing guest camaraderie. The opening dinner and reception was outstanding, and so was the company. Steve Parrish-ex-Barry Sheene teammate and general rabblerouser-gave a hilariously entertaining speech at the 2008 edition; good fun was had by all.
