Harley Cutlery
The thrill of riding a motorcycle is not knowing what you'll encounter on a road trip. So it's especially important to be prepared for whatever adventures the journey can bring. That's why there are three things every Harley-Davidson enthusiast shouldn't leave the house without: their motorcycle, favorite leather jacket and a handy pocket knife. Benchmade Knife Company, manufacturers of world-class sports cutlery for more than two decades, recently introduced new models to their line of Harley-Davidson Knives at the Harley-Davidson summer dealer meeting. The knives feature superior craftsmanship that combine leading innovation, sophisticated technology and superior materials.
Mini-Hardtail (13150-1)
The ergonomic design of the Mini-Hardtail knife, patented AXIS Assist locking mechanism and ambidextrous dual thumb-studs allows for easy one-handed opening. The Valox handle reduces the overall weight of the 3.25" blade made of D2 high grade tool steel. Adding to its clean design, the Mini-Hardtail features the Harley-Davidson Bar & Shield on the blade and Harley-Davidson molded into the handle. The knife retails for $90 to $105, depending on the blade configuration and coating.
Tether Knife (13212)
With a two-inch drop point utility blade, the Tether Knife is sleek and functional. The blade is made of 440C high carbon stainless steel and has a skeletonized handle to decrease the weight, bringing the total weight of the 5.5" knife to a mere 1.6 ounces. The sheath features the Harley-Davidson logo on both sides and comes with a tether corded sheath. The plain edge steel blade retails for $85 and the black ceramic coated blade retails for $100.
Levitator Money Clip Knives (13300BK/13310)
The Levitator Money Clip Knives functional design fits into the palm of a hand. Featuring precision machined stainless steel handle scales, the 0.10" thick blade is available with AUS8 High Carbon Coated or Satin Stainless Steel options. The modified tanto blade is etched with Harley-Davidson and is personalized with a H-D Skull button on the handle and money clip while the drop-point blade style features a Harley-Davidson Bar & Shield logo that is etched in the blade and the logo is featured on the handle. All of the Money Clip knives feature the Levitator Locking Mechanism and are 4.93" open and 2.88" closed. The retail price for both models is $60.
Nightshift (13551)
The limited edition pink Nightshift sets itself apart with its unique tread and pink Noryl GTX glass-filled thermo-plastic handle. The 2.72" carbon stainless steel blade features the Harley-Davidson name scripted on the side. The Harley-Davidson Bar & Shield logo is also molded into the handle which includes a reversible carry-clip for ease of use. The retail price for this knife is $90.
The knives are currently available at Harley-Davidson dealerships nationwide.
