Custom Trike Kit

California Sidecar--the trike conversion, sidecar, and motorcycle cargo trailer specialists known as CSC--has introduced The Custom, a combination of CSC's Volusia Trike (for the Harley-Davidson Softail) and a custom chopper trike.

Standard features for CSC's new Custom include a complete new front-end with chopper-style raked custom polished billet aluminum triple trees, carpeted trunk with remote operated hatch release, custom seat by Saddleman, trike chassis with upgraded high-performance disc brakes and calipers, in addition to matching polished billet aluminum wheels complete with tires.

The Custom has chrome hand controls and forward controls, chrome front caliper and stainless steel rotor, chrome extended forks, chrome headlight and turn signals, chrome license plate frame and chrome dual exhaust by Vance & Hines.

The Custom is sold as a kit or as a turnkey package as pictured and comes complete with Independent Suspension, trike chassis, main body which includes trunk lid, hinges and remote operated latch and carpet, custom seat, rear fenders, rear taillights, and license plate frame. Custom options consist of matching spoke wheels with tires, electric reverse, and shock preloader.

CSC is also offering buyers a choice of two different custom paint schemes in five different color combinations, or they can purchase the body as a gel coat and have it custom painted on their own.

California Sidecar's new Custom kit fits Harley-Davidson Softail models from 2000-current, excluding the Rocker and 2007 Fat Boy. The Custom kit will be available for purchase as a kit and as a turnkey purchase in the second quarter of 2010, and will be comparably priced to other CSC trike kits.
