2013 Kawasaki KX250F Video
Kawasaki recently invited a few dirt-savvy journalists to be the first to test ride the 2013 KX250F, a machine that was totally revamped for 2012.
The journalists participated in the first ride of the 2013 Kawasaki KX250F at Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minn. Here what they had to say about Kawasaki’s new machine in the video attached above.
The 2013 KX250F features more power over previous years due to a redesigned cylinder head with straighter intake tract for more direct airflow from the airbox to the combustion chamber. The engine also received an updated digital fuel injection with industry-first upstream dual injector for more power at higher RPMs.
Up front, the 2nd Generation Showa Separate Function Fork (SFF) is also new to the 2013 model. The fork features simple adjustments with a wrench, allowing personalization for rider height and weight.
Stopping the 2013 Kawasaki KX250F is a new braking system; the bike features a new pushrod type front brake master cylinder and new brake pad material that provide stronger brake force and enhanced feel.
