2012 Ducati Wrooom

On Monday, the traditional Ducati WROOM Press Ski Meeting kicked off at the Madonna di Campiglio resort in the Dolomites, Italy.

During the 22nd edition of the event, Ducati team riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden will be present; the two MotoGP pilots met with journalists and fans Monday at the famed ski resort, and poised for a few pics on a 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Tricolore. Also joining Rossi and Hayden on Wednesday will be Ducati Corse General Manager Filippo Preziosi.

The Ducati Wrooom event features five days of excitment for Ducati fans, including the traditional high point of the week on Friday when Ducati's Rossi and Hayden will compete in a kart race with Ferrari's F1 drivers.

Hayden's participation in events will be limited, though, due to the Kentuckian recovering from injuries sustained while training on an indoor flat track last month.
