2012 Yamaha Wallpaper

For 2012, Yamaha returns with its "true" naked sportbike, the FZ8. The 2012 FZ8 bridges the gap between its siblings, the older FZ1 and the younger FZ6R.

The motorcycle features a 779cc engine that features technology from the R1 and R6 sportbikes, including forged aluminum pistons and ceramic-composite-coated cylinders.

The middleweight machine, which features upright ergonomics and muscular styling, is only available in one color combination: Matte Black / Matte Black.

Yamaha says: "This bike simply excels, both in the morning commute and on that spirited weekend ride on a twisty back country road."

The FZ8 is Yamaha's answer to the do-it-all motorcycle, providing sportbike fun in it's purest form, but also a daily commuter with comfortable ergos. And the naked package is offered for under the $8700 mark.
