2012 Yamaha Wallpaper
Upright ergonomics, high horsepower and naked styling. This is the combination that made the FZ1 popular upon its introduction to the US market in 2001.
Eleven years later, and the 2012 Yamaha FZ1 still relies on this combination, but with more technology and styling.
The literbike is offered as the oldest naked sibling in Yamaha's 2012 lineup, with the younger FZ8 and FZ6R occupying the smaller naked motorcycles.
The FZ1 features an earlier version of its flagship R1 998cc motor - the one without the crossplane crankshaft - with 20 valves and a smooth fuel-injection system.
For 2012, the Yamaha FZ1 will be available for 2012 with a Pearl White/Matte Black paint scheme.
