2012 Royal Enfield Bullet B5 | Quick Look

2012 Royal Enfield Motorcycle

The inspiration for the Royal Enfield Bullet B5 500 is the classic iron barrel Bullet 350.

However, the motor powering the B5 displaces 499cc, and has such niceties as fuel injection, digital ignition, and electric starting (with kick backup).

A five-speed transmission has wide ratios, due to the wide, flat power curve of the pushrod motor. Weight is a manageable 412 pounds at the curb.

Royal Enfield has given the B5 500 updated suspension, improved handling, and a higher cruising speed, while retaining a claim of 75 mpg and meeting Euro II emissions standards.
