2012 Honda NC 700 X Wallpaper
Honda's latest release, the NC700X, is truly unique in two ways - the motorcycle features 21 liters of internal storage, and it's offered for under $7,000.
In today's economy, the NC700X could become especially popular due to the price point, and because it can swallow a full-face helmet, there's no concern for packing away some things while on short commutes around town.
But its not just a commuter. The bike appears to be designed as a crossover model between a standard commuter or an adventure motorcycle.
The NC700X features a liquid-cooled, 670cc parallel twin that sits in the chassis at a unique 62-degree forward lean. The bike features Honda's reliable Programmed Fuel Injection, and the motor is hooked to a six-speed transmission with the option of Honda's second-generation automatic Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) that arrives will Combined Antilock Braking System.
As for suspension, the NC700X arrives with a 41mm fork up front with six inches of travel, and a Pro-Link single shock out back with 5.9 inches of travel. As for brakes, it's very simple - a single 320mm discs up front squeezed by a dual-piston caliper (three-piston caliper for ABS), and a single 240mm disc out back squeezed by a single-piston caliper.
Honda also offers loads of geniune accessories for the 2012 NC700X, which will be offered in one color when it's released this summer- Light Silver Metallic.
