For 2012, Harley offers the Sportster Custom XL1200 C as a carry-over model with two new features: black side covers to match the bodywork, and new color options added to vivid black - Big Blue Pearl, Brilliant Silver Pearl and Ember Red Sunglo/ Merlot Sunglo.
The Sportster Custom retains the fat styling with a fat front-end, and a front 130mm tire and 150mm tire out back. With these fat attributes, the Sportster Custom arrives with a an air-cooled, 73 ci (1200 cc) V-Twin with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection.
The 2012 Harley-Davidson Sportster Custom can be also be ordered using the H-D1 customization process.
Harley says: "And, with the H-D1 factory customization process, customers can personalize their 1200 Custom with seat, handlebar, foot control, wheel, security, paint and engine finish options straight from the factory."
