2012 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle

Due to its popularity within the Harley-Davidson community, the Motor Company released three versions of the V-Rod for 2012 - the 10th Anniversary, the Night Rod and last but not least, the V-Rod Muscle.

The V-Rod Muscle is the ultimate power cruiser, flexing much muscle through the Revolution engine, a 1250cc (76 ci) liquid-cooled V-Twin with dual-overhead camshafts, four-valve cylinder heads and Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI).

The 122 horsepower from the V-Twin is transferred through an Assist and Slip clutch, five-speed transmission, and high-performance carbon-fiber drive belt out to a massive, 240mm Michelin Scorcher tire. Doing the stopping is a triple-disc Brembo braking system.

The V-Rod Muscle, available in Vivid Black, Black Denim and Two-Chrome Yellow shown above, features all the items that help define the muscle bike - a wide airbox cover, side cover scoops, and dual exhausts in satin chrome with fat, turn-out mufflers. The Muscle also features the abbreviated tail section, chopped rear fender and deep seat.
