2012 Ducati Superbike Wallpaper

In 2008, Ducati replaced its middleweight 749 with the 848, a 370-lbs. machine creating 116 horsepower at 10,000 rpm.

The 848 was enhanced throughout the years, most notably in 2011 when it received the “EVO” treatment; this model featured 140 horsepower at 10,500 rpm, and revised styling.

And for 2012, the Italian icon offers the 848EVO as carry-over model, available in three colors – Arctic White Silk, Ducati Red and Black Stealth.

Besides the revised, higher-horsepower rev-happy 848 EVO engine, the sportbike features Showa suspension components, 320mm Brembo Monobloc brakes and lightweight Y-spoke wheels mounted with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires (120/70 ZR17 front, 180/55 ZR17 rear).

For 2012, Ducati also released the 848EVO Corse, which was enhanced with Ohlins suspension components and a Corse color scheme.
