With the Dakar a month away, Touratech is doing all it could to raise funds for the American Jonah Street's rally efforts.

Besides offering a special fundraising t-shirt, Touratech also recently hosted a "send-off" party for the Dakar competitor, allowing fans to see Jonah's new YZ450F Rally Bike. Many picture opportunities were available as additional funds were raised for Street through a raffle and silent auction

Paul Guillien (GM, Touratech USA) says: "Most of the staff at Touratech-USA and our customers are huge Jonah Street fans, so its an honor for us to be a part of his Dakar Rally team again this year."

Prior to Dakar, Jonah was a dominant force in Baja with three consecutive wins in the Baja 500 and four second place finishes in the Baja 1000. In his first Dakar Rally, he posted multiple top-3 stage finishes and managed 17th overall. In the 2009 Dakar Rally, Jonah won stage 5 before pulling out of the race at Stage 8 with an injury.

In the 2010 Dakar Rally, Jonah finished 7th overall, and a few months later became the first American to win Rally Mongolia. At last year's Dakar Rally, Street won the ninth stage, finishing 14th overall.
