Ducati GP Replica

It may not be the Ducati you'd expect to see donning the number "46" or "69," but the Italian manufacturer will do anything necessary to support their MotoGP team of Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden.

As part of their ongoing "Monster Art" program, Ducati has released the Monster GP Replica collection, which allows Monster owners to upgrade their machines to Rossi and Hayden livery through a kit.

The MotoGP livery scheme kits are available for 696, 796, 1100 and 1100 S Monsters as well as the brand new Monster 1100EVO, and will be also available as original colors on new Ducati Monsters in participating countries.

The GP replica kit consists of a tank cover, seat cover, mudguard and nose fairing in either the red and yellow famed for "The Doctor" Valentino Rossi, or the white and red famed of "The Kentucky Kid" Nicky Hayden. Prices have yet to be releases stateside.

The GP Replica Rossi/Hayden machines will be debuted publicly Friday evening at the "Ducati MotoGP Night" in Bologna. During the bash, the Ducati Marlboro team of Rossi and Hayden will appear on stage with their Desmosedici GP11 prototypes on stage in Bologna's Piazza Maggiore.

Ducati says the celebrations is intended to be a passionate send-off to the Ducati Marlboro Team just prior to their first race of the year in Qatar later this month, and as the two factory riders appear on stage to greet an expected 30,000 fans, the new Monster Art GP Replica schemes will also be presented.
