Phoenix Supercross Video

After taking third in the opening AMA Supercross round of 2011 at Anaheim, San Manuel rider James Stewart followed the podium with a victory at Phoenix SX on Saturday.

Stewart would grab the holeshot on his Yamaha YZ450F, and lead every lap until taking the checkered flag. He was joined on the podium by Anaheim 1 winner Ryan Villopoto (Monster Energy Kawasaki) and Trey Canard (Geico Honda).

James Stewart (Yamaha Supercross) says: "I really wanted to pull that holeshot," explains the Supercross and AMA Pro Motocross star.

"This track was tough tonight but I haven't won in over a year so I really wanted this one. I was even a little nervous out there but I want to thank everyone on my team for giving such an awesome bike. This feels great."
