Nitro Harley-Davidson Drag Racing

The highly exciting and always entertaining Nitro Harleys will be featured as an exhibition class at the Ford NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals presented by Tri-Cities Area Ford Dealers, the NHRA said on Friday.

Fans attending the June 17-19 event at Bristol Dragway will be treated to the high-powered, nitromethane-induced NHRA Harley-Davidson Racing Nitro Exhibition, in addition to their favorite classes in the Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and Get Screened America Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.

Kris Schooner (Harley-Davidson Racing Manager) says: "Harley-Davison is thrilled to bring the thundering sound of nitro-burning Harleys to Thunder Valley. It's a show drag racing fans won't want to miss."

Fans will also have the opportunity to participate in the season-long, 60th anniversary of NHRA. As part of that celebration, fans will be able to participate in many meet-and-greets and autograph sessions occurring throughout the weekend. And Sunday ticket holders will have the chance to participate in a very special NHRA Track Walk in honor of the memory of Jeff Byrd, former track President and General Manager.
