2011 MotoGP Wallpaper

For the first time since Valencia last November, Valentino Rossi stood on the MotoGP podium after taking third at the French Grand Prix, Le Mans, Sunday.

Rossi piloted the Ducati Team GP11 to the podium finish after starting from ninth on the grid. His team continually progressed with the Ducati's setup, and the bike began performing correctly where it counted: the race.

After 28 laps around Le Mans, Rossi would finish behind the Repsol Honda boys, Andrea Dovizioso and race-winner Casey Stoner.

Valentino Rossi (Ducati Marlboro Team MotoGP) says: "I'm happy for myself, for my team, for Filippo (Preziosi), and for all the boys at Ducati. This result boosts our morale. We still have to keep working and improving though, because there's more to be done. I also have to improve and keep adapting my style to the Ducati, because I'm still not riding it as I should, but in the meanwhile, we'll enjoy today's nice race and podium."
