iPhone MX Game
Turborilla, an independent game developer, was founded in 2006 by Tobias Andersson. Their mission is to bring enthusiast passion into the gaming world via Apple iTunes App Store (iTunes (iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad).
Now the Swedish developer Turborilla and mx publication, Racer X Online, have announced a new iPhone motorcycle racing game. In addition to the iPhone, Mad Skills Motocross has launched for iPod Touch and iPad, all are now available in the Apple iTunes App Store.
The hyper-addictive iPhone Mad Skills Motocross plays and feels like no other side-scrolling racing game. The physics engine and arcade-style power-ups give you a level of control that you would expect.
"Mad Skills Motocross is surprisingly addicting," said volunteer beta tester and legendary motocross and supercross champion Jeff Emig.
"I have played this game way too much-hours and hours-and I feel like I'm just getting started. Video games rarely hold my attention, but that's not the case with Mad Skills Motocross. Love it!"
Leading app-review website Touch Arcade called iPhone Mad Skills Motocross pure fun, saying it's "similar to the classic Excitebike but with enhanced visuals and an absolutely brilliant physics system."
They went on to say, "if you're in the market for a fast-paced arcade-style racing game it doesn't get much better than Mad Skills Motocross."
With 52 racetracks, ranging from simple to extremely technical, Mad Skills Motocross is fun for novices but deep enough for nearly endless competitive high-level play.
Gamers can compete in Career mode, race against their own best times in Time Attack mode, or race against friends via OpenFeint challenges. Players can also place on the global OpenFeint leaderboards.
Mad Skills Motocross is presented with the support of four major motocross-industry sponsors: Suzuki, Motosport, GoPro, and KICKER.
Mad Skills Motocross is available on the Apple iTunes App Store now for the introductory price of $1.99.
