When the Ducati Monster arrived in 1993, it immediately started a "less-is-more" philosophy, bringing Desmo power to a light chassis.

The Monster quickly became the post-child for the naked sportbike movement, and brought many new riders into the Ducati family; the Monster was hit its peak of popularity in 2005 when it was credited for more than half of Ducati's worldwide sales.

Besides the 90-degree L-Twin Desmo power, the naked sportbike is further enhanced by the Italian manufacturer's trellis frame.

The latest in the Monster lineup is the 696 that produces 80 horsepower, the 796 that produces 87 horsepower and the 1100 EVO that produces 100 horsepower.

Speaking of the Monster family, Ducati says "the 'less-is-more' philosophy that made the Monster a motorcycling icon is now further enhanced to redefine your naked expectations."

Attached above is the latest video from the Bologna motorcycle manufacturer.
