Chicago Dainese D-Store: Opening Scenes

Dainese Opening Video

Last week, Dainese opened its D-Store in Chicago. The Italian apparel company that sponsors legendary racers like Valentino Rossi recently released a YouTube video highlighting the grand opening of the Chicago D-Store.

On hand was 1993 MotoGP Champion Kevin Schwantz. who began the festivities with a ribbon-cutting ceremony; Schwantz later signed autographs and spent time with fans.

In the afternoon, Rossi's Ducati MotoGP teammate Nicky Hayden was at the D-Store Chicago opening, also greeting fans and signing autographs.

Besides MotoGP giants Schwantz and Hayden, the #23 Suzuki GSX-R1000 ridden by Dainese-sponsored Ben Bostrom (AMA Superbike) was brought courtesy of Dainese's partner, the Michael Jordan Motorsports Team.

Also during the grand opening, customers had the opportunity to meet Dainese's representatives, as well as to see and feel the new 2011 Ducati line-up, including the Diavel, displayed by Motor Cycle Center in Villa Park.

D-Store Chicago is located in 1408 N. Meacham Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is available in the parking lot.

Maybe some day in New York. Supposed to be the greatest city and we are dead last for everything with the exception of terrorist attacks.
