2011 World Superbike Video
Two riders were awarded wins Sunday at Motorland Aragon, round seven of 13 in the 2011 World Superbike Championship.
Yamaha World SBK's Marco Melandri was victorious in the first race, taking the win over the Alitalia Aprilia duo of Max Biaggi and Leon Camier.
Race 2 awarded Biaggi his first win of 2011; the reigning World SBK champion was joined on the podium by Melandri and series' leader Carlos Checa on the Aletha Ducati 1198R.
Checa now has 261 points, 43 ahead or Biaggi. Melandri is in third with 195 points. The 2011 WSBK Championship returns next weekend to Brno before a short summer break.
