2011 CBR Motorcycles

American Honda Motor Company announced to its motorcycle dealers an additional release of two street bikes for the 2011 model year: the CBR1000RR and CBR600RR.

Bill Savino says: "With this new-model release Honda expands its lineup for 2011 in many significant ways. These latest motorcycle models underscore the variety we offer to our customers."

"The CBR 1000 RR and CBR 600 RR both set the standard for sportbikes in their respective classes."

"These 2011 motorcycles add to our new-model lineup, and I'm pleased to say there will be even more new machines to be announced shortly", explains the Honda Powersports and Motorcycle Press Manager.

2011 Honda CBR 1000 RR

The revolutionary CBR1000RR, originally released back in 2008, had established new standards for lightweight, superlative handling, remarkably compact dimensions and exceptional performance.

Also available with the high-tech electronically controlled Honda Combined ABS for the ultimate in sophisticated sportbike braking performance, the Honda CBR1000RR remains a tough superbike competitor.

New for 2011, all colors have silver frames and silver swingarm. The Repsol Edition returns along with an exciting new Red/Black and all Black color schemes.

C-ABS model available in Red/Black only and the Repsol Edition, Red/Black and Black will be available beginning in December.

Honda Genuine Accessories available include, Color-Matched Passenger Seat Cowl, CBR Racing Cycle Cover (for indoor use), Carbon-Fiber Accents, Carbon Fiber License Plate Frame, Outdoor Cycle Cover, E-Cushion Seat for greater comfort, Rear Tire Hugger and HRC Power-Up Kit for Racing (Track Use Only).

The CBR600RR motorcycle blends a light and compact chassis with impeccable power delivery to create the ideal balance of power and handling-it's a combination that's hard to beat.

Because of it's natural riding balance, no other 600cc motorcycle has won more magazine comparisons and AMA championships than Honda's CBR600.

And it's also available with Honda's unique Combined ABS for improved sportbike braking performance.
