2011 Dakar Rally Video

March Coma took his fifth victory of the 2011 Dakar Rally aboard the KTM Rally 450 on Friday. He finished 37 seconds ahead of fellow KTM rider, Cyril Despres. Third was Helder Rodrigues on a Yamaha.

Coma's results at the penultimate stage of the Dakar Rally keeps him 16:36 seconds ahead of Despres, with Francisco Chaleco Lopez (Aprilia) in third just under an hour behind Coma.

Taking fourth and fifth at Stage 12, which is highlighted in the attached video, were Lopez, who was 10:03 seconds behind Coma, and Quinn Alexis Cody of the USA (Honda), who was 15:45 seconds behind Coma.

The final stage of the Dakar 2011 takes riders from Cordoba to Buenos Aires through a 645-km link and a relatively short 181-km special, which finishes at the Baradero racing track in the Argentinean capital. After all is said and endured, 9,500 km will be complete.
