Despite the mind-warping (claimed) 192 hp-making it the most powerful streetbike ever-the BMW S 1000 RR is flawlessly controlled by an unequalled electronics package.
The impressive four-cylinder motor is tamed with four rider-selectable modes that adjust power delivery,traction control and ABS braking. T
he impressive rider aids, Mosport paint scheme, and brilliant quick-shifter prices the BMW superbike well beyond its Japanese competitors.
Unchanged for 2011, but the S 1000 RR is so good it will take a while for it to be bested by the competition, on the street anyway.
