2011 MotoGP
Last year when the 3.154-mile Motorland Circuit debuted on the MotoGP schedule for the Aragon Grand Prix, it was Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa who had a flawless performance, taking a win at one of four home tracks in Spain.
This year it was again a Repsol Honda rider who was victorious, but not Pedrosa. The 2011 Aragon GP went to Pedrosa's teammate Casey Stoner during the Australian's debut year with Repsol Honda.
Stoner's win at the Motorland circuit was his eighth of the 2011 MotoGP Championship. Joining Stoner on the podium was Pedrosa and the reigning MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing).
With his win, Stoner now has a 44-point advantage over Lorenzo with four rounds remaining. The 17-rider grid has a week break before heading to Motegi for the Japanese Grand Prix Oct. 2.
