This morning Motorland Argon had a visit from the Rizla Suzuki MotoGP riders, Loris Capirossi and Alvaro Bautista.

In a promotional event for Suzuki, both GP riders were able to complete a few test laps, they seemed happy with the quality and safety of the circuit.

Alvaro Bautista says (translated): "It's a fun circuit which had been improved for racing because of the updated security. The corners are large and spacious with asphalt and gravel and that makes it possible to take more risks."

Loris Capirossi says (translated): "The course has several beautiful corners and that are very complicated. In particular, the last turn to finish line input is amazing. It is a fast rising curve that is loads of fun on a motorcycle."

Motorland Aragon continues to prepare for the pinnacle of motorcycle racing. This week GP tests will be held for the 125cc and Moto2 disciplines. During the two days, the best riders in these categories will be rolling in Motorland for the first time, with the aim of collecting track knowledge and data in preparation for the inaugural MotoGP race to be held in September at the recently updated race circuit.

The Moto2 riders include the top ten contenders for the first-ever Moto2 Championship Title. Among them are Toni Elias, Thomas Luthi, Julian Simon, Shoya Tomizawa, Andrea Iannone, Simone Corsi, Jules Cluzel, Juki Takahashi, Sergio Gadea and Gabor Talmacsi.

The 125cc GP riders will include Marc Marquez, Pol Espargaro, Randy Krummenacher, Efren Vazquez and others. In total there will be 45 riders in the two categories over the two days of motorcycle testing.

Tuesday morning there will be a Pit Walk for fans. The capacity is limited but will be free for those who already have an entry ticket for the Grand Prix MotoGP Aragon.

For those who do not, the Pit Walk is 5 euros. Tickets for the activity can be purchased at the Welcome Center building at the race circuit.

This weekend at Motorland, the largest national championship in the world takes place. Over 135 riders will fight on the track in four racing categories (Kawasaki Ninja Cup, Moto2, Stock Extreme, 125GP).

The big question for this coming weekend is for Carmelo Morales. Morales, who while riding for Pons Team in Moto2 Catalunya Grand Prix had a brutal accident.

After his upside down crash, the Spanish substitute rider escaped with only minor injuries and apparently has recovered to run in the national championship motorcycle race.
