Building upon a focused strategy of premium-quality publishing targeted at motorcycle enthusiasts, Ultimate MotorCycling has achieved another top position: The most popular motorcycle website among all U.S. streetbike magazines.
According to trusted third-party source Alexa.com (an Amazon.com company), the substantial visitor traffic at UltimateMotorCycling.com now places it firmly on the top step of the podium.
Ultimate MotorCycling online launched in January 2009 and has continued to show significant month-over-month increases in traffic.
Founder and President Arthur Coldwells explains, "Motorcycling is our passion. When we acquired the property from Robb Report over two years ago, we saw a void in the market and had a vision to be leaders in the industry by capitalizing on our passion."
This number 1 position is achieved ahead of a powerful peer group that includes the oldest and most firmly entrenched industry heavyweights: Cycle World (Hachette Filipacchi Media), Motorcyclist (Source Interlink), and Rider (Affinity Group).
When asked about the feedback from readers, Coldwells says, "There is a clear desire from motorcycle enthusiasts to have the most up-to-date, factually accurate and relevant content delivered to them in a top-quality package. We jumped on the opportunity and are thrilled with the terrific progress to date."
Coldwells also discussed the future of motorcycle enthusiast media: "We believe that the future of media is an integrated platform working in harmony across print, online, the new digital technologies and live events."

Ok, lets look at the REAL stats from Alexa

ultimatemotorcycling.com - There are 49,755 sites with a better three-month global Alexa traffic rank than http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/ultimatemotorcycling.com# .
According to Google Analytics, over the last 60-days, Ultimate Motorcycling had 807,760 visits and 1,635,420 Pageviews. We really appreciate our reader's support and hope you enjoy the site. - OnlineEditor
Great job on the site guys. I have been a reader of the print magazine for the last 4 years. Somehow you guys seem to get us middle-aged riders. All the other magazines are geared up for the hype and speculation. I have been riding for 30 years and don't need all that non-sense. Just give it to me straight. Thanks for the facts and not just the stats. Hank - Denver CO.
yeah... i guess the figures are right there. you could say they are wrong but still ultimate motorcyling magazine is nearly 2x ahead of the next publication! that has to count for something.
i found this site about 6-months ago and i appreciate the content and layout. it stands to reason that ultimatemotorcycling.com is getting more and more popular.
plus, ultimate is not always trying to sell you something like motorcyclist and sport rider who have all those pop-up "buy my subscription". now that is crap!
this is a quality site boys. anyone want to ride?
Congradulations, you have earned it! This is one of the best resources on the web. And pay no attention to the sour grapes from the desk jockeys who have never ridden anything quicker than their mouse!
Let's see your analytics then, Arthur.
Anyone with a modicum of internet savvy knows that Alexa figures count for nothing.
If you've got balls, you'd post your traffic figures rather than someone's guess at them.
Any reason why [i]Ultimate[i] isn't pulling user numbers from the far more accurate and advanced set of free monitoring tools offered by Google? Alexa is about as relevant to gauging online usage as using Ask Jeeves is for searching. Sorry to see you guys got suckered into paying for that.
Thanks!
i just checked the numbers and motorcycledaily.com comes shows a ranking at 37,824 which would be them 4th behind superbikeplanet.com showing a ranking of 36,719!
Congratulations on your number 1 ranking. Certainly the high number of updates you post to your site encourage reader returns. I'm curious how a couple of the purely e-magazine sites rank...such as superbikeplanet.com and motorcycledaily.com. Keep up the good work.
